Found item - french textbook cover from 1829. A childlike pencil scrawling indicated that the book had belonged to "mrs. moon".
I love that label, and will be a touch sad to part with it. But this old book has been gathering dust and falling apart on my bookshelf for the best part of 6 years. Time for it to have a new life and owner!
Sorry it took me so long to reply! At anyrate, nope, this didn't sell at the fair. £20 is the asking price, I think I'll probably frame it/put it in a shadow box before my next outing.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
