Found item - french textbook cover from 1829. A childlike pencil scrawling indicated that the book had belonged to "mrs. moon".
I love that label, and will be a touch sad to part with it. But this old book has been gathering dust and falling apart on my bookshelf for the best part of 6 years. Time for it to have a new life and owner!

An hour passed, the moon came up, hunger and terror hold sleep at bay, in the wards everyone is awake.
At anyrate, nope, this didn't sell at the fair. £20 is the asking price, I think I'll probably frame it/put it in a shadow box before my next outing.
